About Us

Epsom District Swimming Club (EDSC) is a not for profit community swim club composing of a learn to swim program; Seahorses and competitive swim squads. Our aim is to "enable every swimmer" to achieve their potential; be that to be water confident and proficient in all four strokes, or competing in official level 4/3/2 meets, Surrey, regional or national championships.

Over the past 10 years, the club has increased in size from 150 to 600+ members. This growth, coupled with a change of focus and improved Squad Structure, has helped our competitive swimmers go from the bottom tier of the Arena National Swimming League to the top. This achievement not only demonstrates our commitment to our swimmers but must make us one of the most dynamic clubs in our area. Over the past few years, EDSC has continued this momentum not only through the celebration of numerous Surrey and National Champions but also Olympic Trials Qualifiers.

Our Home Pool is the Rainbow Leisure Centre, a modern 25m 6 lane pool with electronic timing. We use this pool for all our home galas, training and EDSC Open Meets. We also use a number of local school pools in the Epsom and surrounding areas for additional training.

In addition to our competitive squads, we also have a rapidly expanding teaching section "Seahorse" and Masters - all providing quality swimming lessons and training at pools in Epsom, Tadworth and Ashtead.
